Soft Tissue Surgery

Soft tissue surgery encompasses surgery of the eyes, ears, nose, and throat (EENT), as well as, skin, abdomen, and chest. Vetcision provides a full range of soft tissue surgeries including reconstructive or plastic surgery, oncology (cancer) surgery, and surgeries of the ear. We also provide a complete range of surgery of the abdominal organs and surgery of the chest. While your family veterinarian can perform some of these surgery, Vetcision is able to utilize advanced techniques and equipment, like internal staplers and grafting materials, to more precisely and efficiently treat your pet’s problem. Soft tissue surgeries are more likely to be performed on sick debilitated patients. Our advanced monitoring equipment, and highly trained staff, means a higher surgical success rate for your pet.

The photo to the right demonstrates a cholecystoduodenostomy with the use of a endoscopic tissue stapling device in a cat. A new opening is being made between the gallbladder and the intestine to by-pass an obstructed bile duct. The stapler allows rapid, consistent surgery in patients that are very unstable under anesthesia.
